Women's Weekend is a time for community, connection, worship, and rest. We are so excited to spend this time together!
Here are a few FAQs for you:
What is the schedule? We will meet for registration between 5-6 pm on Friday evening. If traffic is bad or work runs late, don't panic. Dinner starts at 6 pm, and you are welcome to make your plate as soon as you arrive. We will leave after worship on Sunday morning, usually around 11 am.
Do you have to be a member? You do not need to be a member or regular attendee of First United Methodist Church of McKinney or Melissa United Methodist Church to join this special weekend. You are encouraged to invite and bring a friend or two with you.
Will we be sharing a room? Both single and double occupancy rooms are available with a slightly larger fee for a single room. Linens and towels are provided for you. Some rooms are hotel style and others are more like cabins. There is no daily housekeeping so, as Pastor Patty says, don't put your towel on the floor unless you like to use it off the floor.
Are meals provided? Yes! We can each bring snacks and water bottles to share. Meals are provided Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast.
What do I bring? You'll get a confirmation email after you register. Go ahead and print that out. We will send more information later but that email will have your basic packing list.
